Backend engineer - available for freelance
I build scalable backend systems by owning the stack.
13 yrs in PHP, 8 in Laravel. Data pipelines, cloud infrastructure and the backends that e-commerce and iGaming run on.
Stack
Tools I reach for first.
Languages & frameworks
Databases & data
Infrastructure & cloud
AI
WordPress & WooCommerce
Services
What I do.
The problems I focus on.
Laravel development
Product backends, large refactors, API integrations and internal packages.
E-commerce performance
Finding out why a shop is slow and fixing it: queries, caching, architecture and infrastructure.
AI integration
Claude API, RAG, vector databases and tool use. Wired into real products, not demos.
Data pipelines
Large datasets, dbt transformations and warehouse builds on AWS and Google Cloud.
Infrastructure
VPS setup and management, cloud, Linux servers, Docker and deployments.
WordPress & WooCommerce
Over 10 yrs of it. Rescues, migrations and maintenance for existing shops.
